Rockies Series Starts Monday - Stadium Giveaways, Pregame Info and Other Stuff!


The next homestand starts on Monday against the Colorado Rockies. Below are some odds and ends for this upcoming homestand. I will update this should new and updated information become available. Here are some important links:

Monday, September 2nd at 5:10 PM

It is Labor Day! Monday's game starts at 5:10 PM. Auto gates open at 2:40 PM, and stadium gates open at 3:10 PM.

It is also City of Long Beach Night at Dodger Stadium. Folks who order a special ticket package will get an exclusive Dodgers' City of Long Beach Night t-shirt. See that on the right. If not already sold out go here for more information.

PGA Golfer Collin Morikawa will throw out a ceremonnial first pitch.

The national anthem will be performed by Musician Second Class, Surface Warfare, Nina Church from Navy Band Southwest in honor of Fleet Week.

Tuesday's game starts at 7:10 PM. Auto gates open at 4:40 PM, and stadium gates open at 5:10 PM.

It is also Hello Kitty Night at Dodger Stadium. Folks who order a special ticket package will get an exclusive Dodgers' Hello Kitty Night blanket. See that on the right. If not already sold out go here for more information.

There will be a pregame Naturalization ceremony for 15 new U.S. citizens from eight countries. Be sure to give them your congratulations.

Wednesday's game starts at 7:10 PM. Auto gates open at 4:40 PM, and stadium gates open at 5:10 PM.

The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive Tommy Lasorda bobblehead. See it on the right.

The Dodgers will present the Heart and Hustle Award to Max Muncy before the start of the game. The Heart and Hustle Award is the only award in Major League Baseball voted on by former players. The MLBPAA formed 30 committees, comprised of Alumni players with established relationships to each team. One player from each Major League team is then chosen by a committee based on their passion, desire and work ethic demonstrated both on and off the field.

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation will hold a silent auction on the Club Level outside the Vin Scully Press Box during today's game, and new for 2019, fans can bid on the unique memorabilia using MLB’s Ballpark App. Also new for 2019, fans will be able to purchase tickets for LADF’s 50-50 raffle using their credit cards. LADF will also continue to offer ribbon board messages as a fundraiser in 2019.
