Russell Martin National Chicle Artwork
Slowly but surely, Topps has been releasing pics from their upcoming National Chicle Baseball set. So far it's looking like it will be filled with some incredible artwork. Per the Card Junk blog, we see even more great drawings. In fact, he points to a Russell Martin piece made by artist Dave Hobrecht. See it below. Heck, buy the original direct from the artist on eBay. It was originally done in B&W, and color was later added by the artist for the card set.

eBay: Linnett Dodger Portraits
For 50 cents in 1976 you could get one great drawing of your favorite ballplayer. They were drawn by Charles Linnett from Walpole, MA, and featured pencil drawn portraits. At the time, you could get drawings from every sport imaginable; such as Baseball, football, the NBA, hockey and the Globetrotters. Below are are five different Dodgers recently found on eBay.

Miss Vero?
I was fortunate to have had several opportunities to go to Florida to watch the Dodgers play at Dodgertown in Vero Beach several years ago. I kinda miss the place.
