2019 Topps Now - #970, #971 & #972 - Game 3 Victory

Game 4 of the 2019 NLDS is just in a few hours. In the meantime, here is a look at the three Dodgers' 2019 Topps Now cards that were made available today. First, check out the above Russell Martin card that celebrates his clutch go-ahead two run double in the sixth inning off Game 1 starter Patrick Corbin to give the Dodgers the lead for good. Per Adam McCalvy at MLB.com:
“I just remember in the back of my mind, we had a meeting and we went over Corbin,” Martin said. “And with two strikes and guys in scoring position he doesn't really throw many strikes. He's going to try and make you chase a little bit. And the more pitches I saw, the more I felt comfortable. I had some pretty easy takes, got back in the count, and then he just left a breaking ball a little bit up.”

Following the Martin card, here is Topps Now card that makes note of Justin Turner's three-run home run to capped off a seven-run sixth inning.
“I’m just trying to get on base and get the momentum going,” he said. “It was a huge inning for us. That’s a huge inning in a playoff game.”

Justin Turner crushed a 3-run home run to highlight a seven-run sixth inning for the Dodgers against the Washington Nationals. The blast helped lead to a 10-4 win and put the Dodgers ahead 2-1 games in the NLDS.

Lastly, the third Dodger card covers the entire seven-run sixth inning. Below is what's written on the reverse:
The Dodgers seven-run sixth inning marked the turning point of the game in their 10-4 win over the Washington Nationals. All seven runs scored with two outs, matching the 2007 Red Sox and 2010 Giants for the biggest two-out rallies in Postseason history: Incredibly, all seven of the Dodgers runs were scored on two-strike hits, a feat that had never be done before.
