2015 Bowman Chrome Baseball - All the Dodger Insert Cards

As promised, here are pics of all of the Dodger insert cards that are available in packs of 2015 Bowman Chrome Baseball.  Go here to see all of my previous post on this set.

As you can see, it is filled with a whole bunch of prospect cards and autographs.  Of note, both Darnell Sweeney and Hector Olivera have Dodger cards in this set.  As you know, they were both traded recently (Sweeney to Philadelphia and Olivera to Atlanta), so Topps was unable to include them on their new teams in time for this release.

Weekend Autograph Opportunities: Manny Mota and a Couple of Lakers

Here are this weekends autograph opportunities and events throughout the Southland. As always, be sure to check the Blue Heaven Calendar for other events (a link can always be found on the tab at the top of this page, just left of center), and always confirm with the establishment. Everything is subject to change.  Please email me with any tips about upcoming events in Southern California.  As the rest of the week progresses I'll update this post with other events (if there are any) as I become aware of them.  Also, I don't always list every event below, so be sure to check my Calendar.  I always try to favor free signing events over paying events.  Click on any pic to embiggen.

Blog Kiosk: 9/9/2015 - Dodger Links - Dodger Fans Own Southern California

There has been nothing but a sea of Blue during this roadtrip, and I couldn't be more astonished and prouder.  The Dodger faithful, with a streaking team in tow, invaded our neighbors to the south, and more or less took over those foreign lands.

Fans went to San Diego and out-screamed and out-cheered the depressed Padres.  Heck, from any one's vantage point those games looked and sounded like home games for Los Angeles.  Then we came to Orange County, the lowly stepchild of LA, and made ourselves at home.  Check out what Josh Mayhood at Halos Heaven had to say about it:
It was the message sent loud and clear from the beginning of the series: the Angels are overmatched, and so are their fans. The Angels are getting owned in this series, both on the field and in the cheering from the stands. Can the Halos faithful be blamed?
Ha!  Those are some sweet beautiful words.

Photo above was grabbed via USA Today (Victor Decolongon/Getty Images).  BTW, the Dodgers "Magic Number" is now at 16.  Below are more links to check out:

  • Eric Stephen at True Blue LA reminds us that today is the 50th anniversary of Sandy Koufax's perfect game, here.  You can listen to the entire 9th inning of this game here (Hat Tip: @Dodgers_History on twitter).  Mark Langill at Dodger Insider also reminds us of the importance of Lou Johnson in Koufax's perfect game, here.
  • Via Ken Gurnick at MLB.com, "Jansen's presence is vital to Dodgers' success."
"On nights like tonight, he puts out the fire and allows you to win a game," said Ellis. "I just know he's really good every time he comes in. There aren't that many guys who can close year after year after year, only a couple in baseball right now, and Kenley does it with mostly one pitch. It says a lot about that pitch and says a lot about his confidence and ability to attack."
  • Via Mark Saxon at ESPN, "Clayton Kershaw wants Dodgers to keep their 'foot on the gas'"
"You've got to keep your foot on the gas. You can't let up," Kershaw said. "Even if we do clinch, you've got home-field advantage to fight for, so just keep going until October-whatever. Then, when the season ends, start all over again."
