MacDonald tells TMZ that as a "very concerned Dodgers fan" ... he simply wanted to express his opinion to the judge ... that McCourt is a "snake-oil salesman" who should be stripped of ownership.Now, 4 more letters have arrived. TMZ continues:
MacDonald says he addressed the letter to the judge and popped it in the mail on June 29 ... and somehow, it was entered into the court file ... which means it will be forever memorialized in court records.
A Dodgers fan named Greg MacDonald opened the floodgates recently, submitting a passionate anti-McCourt letter to the court ... the first fan letter in the McCourt bankruptcy file -- but FOUR more letters have since entered the fray, and each one LAMBASTS the current franchise owner.So, that got me thinking. We need to all write letters to the Honorable Judge Kevin Gross, and we need to do it now.
Not sure where to send it? Well, use the address below, and be sure to use your best letter writing skills. Namely, address the court appropriately as the Honorable Judge Kevin J. Gross and state succinctly that this is with regards to the Dodger bankruptcy case. It should probably be no longer than 1 page, but if you are particularly verbose a couple of pages can't possibly hurt. You should also provide your name and contact information to the court.

Dear Judge Gross:
Since 1958 I have been a die-hard Los Angeles Dodgers’ baseball fan. The Dodgers have brought me a tremendous amount of pleasure and pride. I spent thousands of hours during my youth listening to Vin Scully broadcast their games and studying their baseball cards and their rich history. I identify with the team. It feels as though they are a part of me and I am a part of them.
Along those lines it is important to acknowledge that the Los Angeles Dodgers are an asset of the city of Los Angeles. While I have no problem with the thought of the owner of the team making a profit (mostly at the time of sale) it is imperative that the owner realize that in some ways he is a trustee of an asset that is part of the history and fabric of the City of Los Angeles.
It is necessary that the owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers act as a trustee and avoid actions that will injure the team. Taking $108,000,000.00 FROM the team to fund a lavish lifestyle is unconscionable.
Unfortunately, Frank McCourt, has damaged the asset in his care by his reckless behavior. He has trashed the reputation of this team that has always been held in high regard. The Los Angeles Dodgers have always had a proud tradition and reputation. They are now the laughingstock of baseball and the City of Los Angeles has a black eye.
It is imperative that Major League Baseball take over the entire operation of the team and all it’s entities for the good of Major League Baseball, the City of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and all of their loyal fans.
Frank McCourt stands to make a ton of ill gotten profits from the sale of the team to a new owner who will be of good character and who will understand the right and honest way to run the LOS ANGELES DODGERS. (Please notice there is a city’s name on their jerseys).
Major League Baseball is in the best position to protect the value of the team before Mr. McCourt further diminishes the asset. Please turn the Los Angeles Dodgers back over to MLB who will get the best sales price for Frank (and Jamie?) McCourt, and let the healing process begin.
