Rockies Series Starts on Thursday - Stadium Giveaways, Pregame Info and Other Stuff!


The next homestand starts on Thursday against the Colorado Rockies. Below are some odds and ends for this upcoming homestand; including autograph guest. Here are some important links:
The Chili Colorado Dog will be available for this homestand only against Rockies at the Extreme Loaded Dog concession areas located on the field, loge and reserve levels. It features an all-beer dog with chile Colorado, corn relish, sour cream and cotija cheese. See it on the right.

Thursday, September 7th at 7:10 PM

Thursday's game starts at 7:10 PM. Auto gates open at 4:40 PM, and stadium gates open at 5:10 PM.

It is Law Enforcement Appreciation Night at Dodger Stadium. Folks who ordered a special ticket package will get an exclusive Law Enforcement Appreciation Night mug. See that on the left. This event is already sold out.

Honor Guard will be provided by the California Highway Patrol Southern Division Honor Guard.

Assistant Chief Bea Girmala of the LAPD, Chief Karyn Mannis of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and Assistant Chief Amanda Ray Snowden of the California Highway Patrol will throw out Ceremonial First Pitches. They are also recipients of a Community Hero Award.

Chief Charlie Beck of the LAPD, Sheriff Jim McDonnell of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and Southern Division Assistant Chief, Chris O’Quinn, of the California Highway Patrol will read out the phrase, "It’s Time for Dodger Baseball."

As a part of Law Enforcement Appreciation Night the Siren Dog will be available for this game only against Rockies at the Extreme Loaded Dog concession areas located on the field, loge and reserve levels. It features an quarter pound all-beef Super Dodger Dog topped with pastrami, mustard and pickles. See it on the right.

Friday's game starts at 7:10 PM. Auto gates open at 4:40 PM, and stadium gates open at 5:10 PM. It is Friday Night Fireworks, so fans will be able to go down onto the field after the game to watch the spectacle. The night's theme will be a the "Old School Classics." Go here for more information on Friday Night Fireworks.

The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive a Cody Bellinger Bobblehead. See it on the right.

Saturday's game starts at 6:10 PM. Auto gates open at 3:40 PM, and stadium gates open at 4:10 PM.

The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive Great Dodger Moments Coin #8 featuring Fernandomania. See it on the right.

It is the 2nd annual Catholic Night at Dodger Stadium. Discounted tickets are available to all Parishes, Catholic Schools and other Catholic Ministries in support of the night.  If not already sold out go here for information.

There will be a special on field pregame recognition of the honored priests in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles named Reverend Monsignor by Pope Francis.

It is also Scouts Night at Dodger Stadium. Folks who ordered a special ticket package will get an exclusive commemorative Scouts Patch. See that on the left. If not already sold out go here for information. BTW, there will also be an Egg Drop Contest prior to the game.

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Silent Auction features autographed memorabilia and is located outside the Vin Scully Press Box.

Sunday's game starts at 1:10 PM. Auto gates open at 10:40 AM, and stadium gates open at 11:10 AM.

The first 12,000 ticketed kids 14 & under in attendance will receive a Dodgers Kids Trash Can. See it on the right.

It is Cheer & Dance Team Day Day at Dodger Stadium. Folks who ordered a special ticket package will be able to participate in a special pregame performance on the field in front of family and friends. If not already sold out go here for information.

It is also the 3rd annual Christian Faith Day at Dodger Stadium. Clayton Kershaw and Adrian Gonzalez cordially invite you to a day of faith, family, and fellowship at Dodger Stadium. They will be sharing their own personal testimonies. If not already sold out go here for information. All fans in attendance are invited to stay after the game to enjoy the postgame program featuring Dodger players sharing their personal testimonies and a performance by 3x Grammy nominee Crowder.
