LAD Executive Chef Ryan Evans shared a bunch of new munchies that'll be available at Dodger Stadium at Dodger Insider; including the chicken taco's seen above. Go here to check them all out. Other new items include Chicken burrito bowl and a veggie burger.

- This Day in Dodgers History: In 1962 a former Giant, who wanted to remains anonymous, revealed that the Giants had help during the 1951 playoff against the Dodgers (this is the series where Bobby Thompson hit that infamous homer). They had a sign-stealing clubhouse spy at their home field for the last three months of the season. In 1993 Indians pitchers Steven Olin, Bob Ojeda and Tim Crews (a former Dodger) are in a boating accident at Little Lake Nellie in Clermont, Florida that kills both Olin and Crews. Ojeda is seriously injured in the crash. In 2014 the Dodgers and Diamondbacks begin the regular season in Sydney, Australia. The Blue Crew defeat Arizona, 3-1, behind a stellar start by Clayton Kershaw (6.2 innings, 7 strikeouts and one earned run) and a double and home run by Scott Van Slyke (boxscore).

- I am not the least surprised by this. He looked good this spring, but was likely told recently that he lost the race for the last Dodgers roster spot. Per Jeff Todd at MLB Trade Rumors; "Brad Miller Opts Out Of Contract With Dodgers." Did we just lose this seasons Max Muncy?

What were your thoughts about Tony Gonsolin going into the 2018 season?“You know it’s funny - I’m still kicking myself - I had Tony Gonsolin ranked in the 2018 handbook,” Glaser said. “I had gotten good reports, he was touching 99 mph out of the bullpen at Rancho Cucamonga. But the Dodgers player development staff at the time actually said, ‘We don’t really see him as one of our top 30 guys, there are probably some other guys to put in there,’ so I took him out to my everlasting regret because I had him.”

Last season, it all changed for Hernandez. Singling out the first half, he had improved his K-rate all the way down to 20.5 percent. His power had peaked, as his ISO had jumped all the way up to .243. He was now a comfortably above average major league hitter. In the second half, he was even better. His K-rate was all the way down to 11.6 percent, somehow almost even with his walk rate. He progressively got better throughout the season, with his wRC+ for the seconding half sitting at 127. In the months of August and September he hit for a whopping 165 wRC+. Only 10 hitters with as many plate appearances in that time were better: Christian Yelich, Mookie Betts, Tommy Pham, Justin Turner, Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, Max Muncy, J.D. Martinez, Brandon Nimmo, and Ronald Acuña.
