Lefty O'Doul. This is the first of the "Great Stories" cards within the set, and its a woozy. Lefty talks about a time when men where men, and players worked things out on the field between themselves. They certainly didn't need the umps or the front office getting in the way.
"When I pitched for San Francisco in 1921 I hit 19 men. On Purpose.Then when I became an outfielder the shoe was pm the other foot."
