Here is a great AP wire photo from an Old-Timers game at the Dodger Spring Training facility at Vero Beach. It is dated March 26, 1976 and features coach Walter Alston and catcher Steve Yeager chatting on the bench. Soon to be head coach, Tommy Lasorda, can be seen in the background. In this afternoon game against the Phillies the Dodgers decided to wear these uniforms on the field. It's a photo like this one that makes me yearn for Spring to begin.
