Trayce Thompson's Walk-Off Gets Him an 2016 Topps Now Card

Another great Dodger moment gets a 2016 Topps Now Baseball card.  Go here to check it out and order.  BTW, this is the fifth card featuring a Dodger so far this season.  You can go here to check out the others.

As you surely know by now, Thompson hit a walk-off pinch-hit home run last night to win the game for the Dodgers.  It was his fourth homer of the season and probably the most impactful bomb he's hit in his career so far.  He had said this about it, per Doug Padilla at ESPN:
“It’s special,” Thompson said. “Just to get in there and to celebrate with your teammates, especially guys in here who are established veterans on this team; and they have all been open to me, especially me being new and me being one of the younger guys on the team. They have all been very open and it has been awesome. It’s definitely a crazy feeling. It happened so fast, but I’m just happy to help the team win.”
No team wins a championship without the work and contributions from the bench.  Per David Pinto at Baseball Musings:
Trayce continues to put up good numbers as a part-time player. He came up last season at seasonal age 24, and posted a .295/.363/.533 slash line in 122 at bats. This season he appeared in 27 games, getting just 65 AB, but is hitting .277/.309/.538. He hit for power in A Ball, but as he rose through the minors his batting skills did not keep up. He appears to have found a niche in the majors, as a part time player who can actually hit. Good pinch hitters are rare these days, but in Thompson may have given the Dodgers a Rusty Staub bat off the bench.
Although Thompson has yet to prove he can be consistent on an everyday basis, he does seem to have a solid foundation that will lead to a very nice Major League career.

UPDATE:  The total number of cards ordered was 566 cards.
