Welcome Back to the Blue, Mike Bolsinger and Luis Avilan!

The Dodgers shuffle both the starting rotation and relief staff this afternoon.  They have recalled right-handed starting pitcher Mike Bolsinger and left-handed reliever Luis Avilan.  They replace right-handed starter Ross Stripling, who has been optioned to AAA-Oklahoma City, and right-handed reliever Chin-Hui Tsao, who has been placed on the 15-Day DL with a right triceps strain.

As you know, both pitchers are returning to the Dodgers for a second time this season.  Per a press release:
Bolsinger, 28, made his 2016 debut on Wednesday against the Angels in Anaheim, taking the loss after allowing three runs on seven hits in 4.1 innings. He opened the season on the disabled list after straining his left oblique muscle on March 20 in Arizona and posted a 2.25 ERA (2 ER/8.0 IP) with seven strikeouts and three walks in two rehab starts for Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Avilan, 27, will be making his second appearance on the active roster this season after allowing three runs in 0.2 innings in three games with the Dodgers during his first call-up, April 21-24. He last pitched on Saturday with Oklahoma City vs. Salt Lake, picking up a save in a scoreless ninth inning (14 pitches), and has gone 0-2 with two saves and a 4.97 ERA (7 ER/12.2 IP) in 12 games this season at Triple-A, where he’s limited left-handers to a .143 batting average (2-for-14).
Avilan had been recalled in April due to Louis Coleman being placed on the bereavement list (grandfather had passed away).  Also, Mike Bolsinger is slated to be the Dodgers starting pitcher tomorrow against the Reds.  Ross Stripling was originally schedule to pitch on that day, but was forced to come in to pitch during last nights 17-inning marathon.  Per Jon Weisman at Dodger Insider:
The numbers game also forces Ross Stripling, originally scheduled to start Tuesday before he pitched three shutout innings to help clinch the Dodgers’ 7-6, 17-inning win Sunday, to be optioned to Triple-A. He’ll be down there for at least 10 days, barring another Dodger injury. In reality, he might miss only one start, given that with an upcoming off day, he wasn’t necessarily going to take the mound again until early next week.
With them rejoining the Dodgers I made the above two fantasy Baseball cards.  For the Bolsinger card on the left I using a photo taken by Jon SooHoo from last year and the 1982 Fleer Baseball card design.  For the Avilan card I grabbed a photo taken by Jon SooHoo from last season and the 1984 Fleer Baseball card design.
