There's a Topps Baseball Card Promotion at Dodger Stadium Tonight

I was helpfully reminded by a reader last night that there is a Topps Baseball card promotion at Dodger Stadium scheduled for tonight's game. It is related to National Baseball Card Day -- an annual event being held at participating card shops throughout the country on Saturday, August 12th. The promotion consist of two different parts.

1) There are special limited edition six-card packs available at participating card shops on Saturday, August 12th. These cards consist of a 29-card base set and 11-card autograph inserts of some of the top stars in the game. There is also a 30th Mike Trout card available only with a minimum purchase of Topps products at the store. Corey Seager is the only Dodger available in this part of the promotion, and I am certain the preview card above is that card. Go here for a complete list of participating stores.

2) The second part of the promotion happens on different days at every ballpark in the country. Topps has teamed up with Major League baseball to distribute a four-card pack of cards that features a ten-card team set (20 cards for Phillies and 9 cards for Mets). The Dodgers are scheduled to hand out these packs to fans tonight, Friday, August 11th at Dodger Stadium, and I've just confirmed that the packs will be distributed at all gates as fans enter the stadium. I imagine quantities are limited, so be sure to be there early. Again, these cards will be Dodger players only and you'll get four of the ten cards in the team set. Below is a Dodger checklist.
