Diamondbacks Series Starts on Monday - Stadium Giveaways, Pregame Info and Other Stuff!


The next homestand starts on Monday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Below are some odds and ends for this upcoming homestand; including autograph guest. Here are some important links:

Happy Labor Day! Monday's game starts at 5:10 PM. Auto gates open at 2:40 PM, and stadium gates open at 3:10 PM.

The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive a Labor Day BBQ Glove. See it on the right.

The national anthem will be performed by the Navy Band Southwest. The Color Guard will be presented by the USS Dewey Naval Color Guard. The ceremonial first pitch will be made by Commander Anthony L. Webber of the USS Dewey.

Tuesday's game starts at 7:10 PM. Auto gates open at 4:40 PM, and stadium gates open at 5:10 PM.

It is the first ever Día De Los Dodgers Night at Dodger Stadium. Folks who ordered a special ticket package will get an exclusive Dia de Los Dodgers Night t-shirt. See that on the left. If not already sold out go here for information.

As part of the Día De Los Dodgers celebration, fans are encouraged to honor the spirit and memories of a beloved family member or friend who helped foster their love baseball and the Dodgers. The team will have a Dodger-themed altar, similar to those used on Día De Los Muertos, behind the Right Field Pavilion where fans can share their memories on notecards. The team also encourages fans to share their Dodger memories/photos on social media using the hashtag #DiaDeLosDodgers, which will be featured on DodgerVision before and during the game on Tuesday.

Wednesday's game starts at 7:10 PM. Auto gates open at 4:40 PM, and stadium gates open at 5:10 PM.

The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive a Adrián González Selfie Bobblehead #2. See it on the right. González, who spent most of his childhood in Tijuana, Mexico, represented Team Mexico in the 2006, 2009, 2013 and 2017 World Baseball Classics.

Proceeds from the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation’s in-game 50/50 raffle will be contributed to the Houston Food Bank in support of Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. Dodger players will show their support for those affected by Hurricane Harvey with special Houston Strong batting practice t-shirts on Wednesday, when the players’ wives/significant others and team alumni will join the LADF 50/50 raffle sellers in selling tickets throughout the stadium. Raffle tickets will be sold 3 for $5, 10 for $10 and 60 for $20 from the time stadium gates open until the end of the sixth inning. Half of the jackpot will go to one lucky winner, while the remaining 50% will be donated to the Houston Food Bank.
“On behalf of the entire Dodger organization, we want to support and help those affected by Hurricane Harvey in the Houston area,” said Dodgers’ President and CEO Stan Kasten. “We feel it’s important to do our part in helping with the recovery efforts after this natural disaster that has devastated so many.”
The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Silent Auction features autographed memorabilia and is located outside the Vin Scully Press Box.
