You lucky-ducky!

Featured is a 1950 ACME press photo taken during the filming of the Jackie Robinson Story that is currently on auction at Memory Lane (auction link). Per the descriptor on the reverse:
Jackie Robinson, Brooklyn Dodgers' second baseman, offers batting tips to young Heath Taylor. The Dodgers opened training yesterday in Vero Beach, Fla.

The City of Barstow invites youth between the ages of 5 and 18 to come play ball with Major Leaguers on Saturday at the 9th annual Dino Ebel Baseball Clinic held at the Robert A. Sessions Memorial Sportspark.
Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez and Cincinnati Reds pitcher Amir Garrett, along with other professional baseball players and Barstow natives, will be coaches at the clinic that runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is a $20 fee to participate.
The response from the Anderson employees was overwhelmingly positive.  One employee said, "One of the things that really resonates is that professionals practice. As Bob said, a shortstop might only field 4-5 ground balls in a game, but in a practice session he's liable to take about a hundred. That level of repetition and commitment is a big part of excellence."
Another said, "I honestly enjoyed the presentation. I thought it was a combination of funny, interesting, and an educational moment of many different facets of life."
"Bob brought humor, humility, honesty, insight and energy to our team. He helped us see that we too are a team and how we respond and react will determine the outcome of our day as individuals and as a group," said another employee.
