Last night the Dodgers extended their consecutive homer streak to start the season to seven games when Kiké Hernández hit his third home run of the season to lead-off the game.

He would fly out his next at-bat the following day. In 2016 the Dodgers handed the Padres the worst Opening Day loss in Major League history since 1913. The Los Angeles Dodgers are suing a promotions company after they claim they were stiffed out of 42,000 Lasorda bobbleheads ... this according to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports.
In a lawsuit filed by the team Tuesday ... L.A. says it entered into an agreement with Plan P2 Promotions to make thousands of "100% hand-painted, break-resistant poly-resin" Lasorda dolls.
In short, there’s no Dodgers team in the last 30-plus years Shoemaker hasn’t influenced.
“He cares so much about this organization and it shows every day,” Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman says. 
“He’s a special guy,” Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson adds. “He’s one of a kind.”
