2019 Topps Now - #26 - Bellinger's Big Saturday

The Dodgers exploded on Saturday for 18 runs against the Diamondbacks, due in large part to a four hit effort by Cody Bellinger. He accounted for six of the Dodger runs -- recording two singles (scoring three) and two homers (including a two-run shot against hapless catcher turner pitcher-for-the-day John Ryan Murphy). For his herculean evening he receives the second Dodgers' Topps Now card of the 2019 season. Check it out above and below. You can go here to order, but since I am posting this late it will soon be closed. Per Ken Gurnick at MLB.com:
After stranding 17 runners in Friday night’s 13-inning marathon loss, the Dodgers went 9-for-14 with runners in scoring position, and eight of those hits were singles.
“This is something we’ve been talking about since the winter,” manager Dave Roberts said of his offense’s newly minted approach to augment slugging with situational hitting. “Our guys are doing a lot of work to attack individual pitches the right way and using the whole field, having a two-strike approach. To get rewarded only adds conviction and confidence to the players."
Below is what's on the reverse:
The Dodgers dominated the Diamondbacks, 18-5, lef by their young slugger Cody Bellinger. Bellinger went 4-for-6 with two home runs and six runs batted in. The Dodgers now have 13 home runs through the first three games of the season.
