More Dodger Memorabilia at SCP Auctions

Following up on yesterday's post featuring some Dodger memorabilia originating from the Newport Sports Museum that are available for sale, I now share some other Dodger collectibles that can be found at SCP Auctions.  For instance, check out a couple Dodger World Series Championship rings below.

Dodger World Series Championship rings for 1981 and 1988 are below.  They come directly from the family of former Dodger scout Don Gutteridge.  He was a scout for the Dodgers from 1975 to his retirement in 1992.  Via a SABR biography on Gutteridge by David Anderson:
Gutteridge summed up his career in saying, “I was at the right place at the right time and had a good career.” He credited an experience he had when he was 12 years old. “We would have revival meetings. … I went to the preacher after the service and told him how much I wanted to be a ballplayer,” Gutteridge said. “He told me to talk to the Lord, and I did. I prayed to spend my life in baseball and my prayers were answered.”

The below watch is said to come originally from Hollywood celebrity columnist Army Archerd for his participation in a Dodgers Hollywood Stars game.
