Highlights from Joe Davis' AMA on Reddit

Dodger broadcaster Joe Davis spent this afternoon with the good folks at the Dodgers Reddit.  As you may know, he participated in an "AMA" (Ask Me Anything) session with fans.  Go here to check it all out.  Below are snippets of some of my favorite exchanges.

"Hi, everybody, and a very pleasant good afternoon to you, wherever you may be."

Since a large number of fans have never actually heard Joe speak the question below is very pertinent.

No Reddit AMA would be complete without the "duck-sized" question.

Now on to more serious things.  Are you a homer?

Are you friendly with the players?

What's your daily routine?

And finally, here are some comments about Dodger history.

Based on the response below, I think Joe is immersing himself into Dodger history just fine.  Heck, most folks have no idea who Allen Roth was, or that the Dodgers were the very first team to embrace statistical analysis in the 40's.

Be sure to take a moment to check the entire Reddit (link here).  There's a bunch of great stuff there that I didn't touch upon above; including what team he rooted for as a kid (the Cubs) and advise about getting into the sports media business.
