Welcome Back to the Blue, Chase Utley!

To the surprise of no one, Chase Utley is coming to the Dodgers -- at least that's the unconfirmed report. Per a tweet by Jon Heyman:
Some folks might wonder, why? After all, Utley isn't the same player he was when he starred for the Phillies. Rather, he's a guy who's skill at the plate and on the field have diminished as the grey turns to white. Like a lot of things, though, it's that touch of grey that brings value to the club.

Chase Utley is an old pro who's veteran presence is valued, not only by his teammates but by the coaching staff and front office, alike. ESPN put it this way this morning:
But teammates say his influence and leadership in the Dodgers' clubhouse resonates.
Utley's team ethic and personal investment give him leverage when necessary. He's manager Dave Roberts' favorite conduit to convey the subtle reminders that keep a clubhouse running smoothly through a long, stressful summer.
In other words, he's the man.

Don't think so? Well... I let our manager and resident stud starter explain it all to you, via a tweet from Eric Stephen:
In honor of his impending re-signing with the club I have a bunch of fantasy cards of him. Check them all out above and below.
