Weekend Autograph Opportunity: 12 Happy Dodgers at the GT Sports Marketing Show (UPDATE-Prospects Kendall, Bannon and Wong in Azusa)

Here are this weekends autograph opportunities and events throughout the Southland. As always, be sure to check the Blue Heaven Calendar for other events (a link can always be found on the tab at the top of this page, just left of center), and always confirm with the establishment. Everything is subject to change.  Please email me with any tips about upcoming events in Southern California.  As the rest of the week progresses I'll update this post with other events (if there are any) as I become aware of them.  Also, I don't always list every event below, so be sure to check my Calendar.  I always try to favor free signing events over paying events.  Click on any pic to embiggen.

There appears to be a big card/memorabilia/autograph show happening this weekend at the LA Convention Center. It is called the GT Sports Marketing Show. Unfortunately, their marketing is less than desirable.

It is sponsored by a group called GT Sports Marketing, and they have been putting together collector shows in various markets throughout the country... but you wouldn't really know it if you hadn't searched it out. I had tried to get in contact with them for more info, but never heard back. Nevertheless, clearly there is something big going on there.

I know for a fact there'll be a bunch of autograph guest from Hall of Famers like Marcus Allen to Tim Brown. Current stars like Rams QB Jared Goff and 12 different current Dodgers' are also scheduled to be there. They are Corey Seager, Dave Roberts, Joc Pederson, Matt Kemp, Walker Buehler, Justin Turner, Andrew Toles, Chris Taylor, Cody Bellinger, Ross Stripling, Rich Hill and Yasmani Grandal. They are expected to be coming Sunday evening (after that afternoon's game). I'd be surprised if Toles shows up, though since he is in Triple-A Oklahoma City right now. BTW you can order autograph tickets online beforehand, here.

I do plan on attending on Saturday, but won't be chasing after any autographs. Instead, I am crossing my fingers in hopes that there'll be a bunch of card tables for me to rummage through. Please... Please, let there be a bunch of card dealers!
