With the Dodger season coming to an uneventful close all that is left to look forward to, for me, is the start of the hockey season. It should be an exciting year on the ice as the Kings look to be playoff contenders. In fact, this year is the most excited I've been about a Kings team in ages. Really!.... Last season I was only hoping to make the playoffs. This year, I actually believe they can go deep. And who knows, if things bounce our way we may find ourselves battling for that silver cup.
This coming Saturday is the first Kings event of the season, LA Kings Hockey Fest, so I plan on being there to check it out. Kings management will be taking questions during a "State of the Kings" conference and players from the past and present will be on hand to sign autographs.
