2017 Topps Now -- #422 -- Kyle Farmer's 1st Career MLB Hit Earns Walk-Off Win

We're just experiencing the dream... Kyle Farmer is livin' it.

Last night's come-from-behind win over the Gnats is still impossible to believe. Was that real? Did we really steal that victory? Are we living a dream?

Last night Kyle Farmer strolled up to the plate and lined a ball over the first baseman and into the right field corner of Dodger Stadium. Corey Seager immediately came in to score, then Justin Turner hustled around the bases to barely evade a tag by Giants catcher Buster Posey to score the winning run. All the while, Kyle Farmer stood at second base watching the play unfold.

Soon, he held both arms in air -- no doubt awaiting a deluge of "Blue" to barrel into him. Per Rowan Kavner at Dodger Insider:
“I didn’t really know what (Alex Wood) was going to do,” Farmer said. “Then, all of a sudden, he tackled me. That was probably the best hit he’s had on me in a couple years. It was pretty surreal.”
Per Chris Haft and Joshua Thornton at MLB.com:
"Kyle's going to remember that for a long time. For his family to be here, to get the field stormed on by his teammates, coaches, managers. It was something that was just so special." -- Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, on Farmer's game-winning hit
For his herculean efforts at the plate Topps has issued a 2017 Topps Now card that not only celebrates his walk-off double but also his first Major League hit. Go here to check it out and order. Per the description on the reverse:
Kyle Farmer's first Major League hit, a two-run double in the 11th inning, delivered a 3-2 comeback win fot the Dodgers over the Giants, extending their winning streak to eight games and give them their 31st come-from-behind victory this season. The 26-yea-old is the first Dodger player since Darren Dreifort in 1994, to have his first career hit come in walk-off fashion.
UPDATE: Wow! I didn't expect this kind of number. The print run for the Kyle Farmer card is 942 copies.
