Advance parking prices will be $15 and parking at the gate will be $25 in 2018. Also, the team will continue to offer $5 parking in Lots 13 and 14, which are on Stadium Way, adjacent to the Los Angeles Fire Department training center, a short walk east of the main Vin Scully Avenue-Gate A entrance to Dodger Stadium. A free shuttle will be available for disabled fans. The lots will open to the public at the same time as the other Dodger Stadium parking lots.

It is Opening Day! The game begins at 4:08 PM. Auto gates open at 1:00 PM, and stadium gates open at 1:00 PM. Service for Dodger Stadium Express (the shuttle service from Union Station to Dodger Stadium) begins at 1:00 PM. Dodgers batting practice begins at 1:10 PM. Giants batting practice begins at 2:20 PM. Pregame ceremonies begin at 3:30 PM.

The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive a Dodgers Magnet Schedule. Ceremonies will celebrate the Dodgers’ 60 years in Los Angeles.

The Dodgers and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) have partnered with the Kirk Gibson Foundation during the opening week of the 2018 season to raise money and awareness for Parkinson's Disease. Kirk Gibson will throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch in recognition of the 30th anniversary of his dramatic walk-off home run in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series. Part of the proceeds from Opening Day's LADF 50-50 raffle and a silent auction will be donated to the Kirk Gibson Foundation. The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Silent Auction features autographed memorabilia and is located outside the Vin Scully Press Box.
"I'd like to thank the Dodger organization, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and Dodger fans for their support of the Kirk Gibson Foundation and Parkinson's Disease research. We're going to be able to help a lot of people through the money raised during Opening week," said Gibson. "I'm honored to help kick off the Dodgers' 60th anniversary celebration, and am looking forward to re-living many magical moments at Dodger Stadium on Opening Day and on my bobblehead night."

On another note, the seat where Gibson's homer landed will be painted blue. The Dodgers will pay tribute to Kirk Gibson's 1988 World Series home run by permanently marking a commemorative seat located in the Right Field Pavilion where the walk-off landed during Game 1. The “Kirk Gibson seat” is the first seat at Dodger Stadium to be marked in tribute to a historic event. To the right is a mockup of what that seat will look like.

Section 302, Row D, Seat 1 in the Right Field Pavilion will be painted blue and adorned with Gibson’s painted signature, as well as a historical marker. Tickets for the Kirk Gibson seat and a companion seat must be purchased as a pair at Dodgers.com/Gibson and will cost $300.  The purchase price includes two commemorative t-shirts and food and drink in the Coca-Cola All-Inclusive Right Field Pavilion. $200 of the $300 purchase price will be donated to the Kirk Gibson Foundation to raise money and awareness for Parkinson’s Research.

The National anthem will be sung by American Idol Season 10 contestant and LA Kings fan favorite Pia Toscano. Also, over 100 active local service members will participate in the flag ceremony, U.S. Marine Corps. Color Guard will be in attendance, and there will be a flyover by  T-38C Talons from the 25th Flying Training Squadron at the Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma. With March 29 marking National Vietnam Veterans Day, the Dodgers will honor Vietnam veteran and retired U.S. Marines Corps. Sergeant Joseph Getherall as the club’s Military Hero of the Game.
