2018 Topps Now - Dodgers NLCS Champions - World Series Bound

As Vin used to say, "nothing has ever come easy for the Dodgers," and this series against the Brewers was certainly proof of that. The Dodgers had to battle and fight to became back-to-back National League pennant winners, and their final victory started with a gutsy performance by Walker Buehler in Game 7. Check out his Topps Now card celebrating his performance above and on the right. Go here to check it out and order. Below is what's written on the reverse:

"The Dodgers handed the ball to their star rookie Walker Buehler to start the winner-take-all NLCS Game 7, an he did not disappoint. Buehler recovered from a first-inning home run by Christian Yelich to allow only that one earned run and collect seven strikeouts over four-and two-thirds innings before Los Angeles turned to their bullpen to close out the 5-1 victory."
Five more Dodgers' Topps Now cards were issued this morning to go along with the Buehler card. The next one highlighting Bellinger's two-run clutch homer in the second inning -- following a very surprising 3-2 county bunt single by Manny Machado.  Go here to check it out and order.

Following that is a Chris Taylor card. He made a game saving catch in the fifth inning to maintain a 2-1 lead in the game. Go here to check it out and order. Below is what's written on the reverse:
"After starting the game at second base, Chris Taylor moved to the thir inning, where he ended up making what may be th defensive play of the series. In the fifth inning, with the Dodgers leading, 2-1, and the tying run on base. Taylor tracked down and leaped on the warning track to rob a hit that would have tied the game."

Then, Yasiel Puig put the game out of reach when he walloped a three-run home run in the sixth inning off of Brewers reliever Jeremy Jeffress. Above is his Topps Now card celebrating the homer.  Go here to check it out and order.

The fifth Topps Now card featured Clayton Kershaw closing out the game to help the Dodgers to their 23rd franchise pennant.

Lastly, here is the team celebration card. Go here to check it out an order.

BTW, there were two Topps Now card issued following Friday's Game 6. The first card featured Yasiel Puig and it made note of his 52nd career postseason game with the Dodgers -- passing Andre Ethier for most playoff games played in the long, storied history of the franchise.

The second card highlighted Dadid Freese's leadoff homer. See it below.
