Collection: Vintage Dodger Postcards

One of the great and unheralded of all vintage collectibles has been postcards. They are not as sought after as baseball cards, but they can be harder to find in decent condition. They typically feature great photos of our favorite players, and, on top of that, can be very affordable. The group of 16 postcards I just recently scanned was purchased several months ago on eBay for under $10.00. I thought it was a great deal. See the rest of the postcards in my photoalbum here.Postcard Photoalbum here.

  1. Love the postcards! Are they from different years? I was comparing them to our postcard collection at TwinsCards and found it interesting that Johnny Roseboro has one in the Dodger set and the Twins set (1968 Dexter Press) and both are in the catcher's crouch position.

I too love the postcards and have most of the Twins sets from the 70s and 80s.

    Great stuff....keep it up.

  2. Let's try a link that will fit on the screen. You can navigate to the postcards from here:

But I'd still like to know what year yours are from and if they had a company that produced them.

  3. Hey Twinscards. Thanks for your comment. Give me a couple of days and I'll put the year produced and any other info I can find about the cards in my photoalbum
