Frito Pie Extreme Dog

There are three new food items being made available for this entire homestand, and they are available at the On Deck Circle stand on Field Level section 48, Loge Level section 133 and Reserve Level section 4. First, in honor of Atlanta you can get the Smoked BBQ Chicken Nachos which features Slow and low smoked chicken, smothered in house made sweet smokey barbecue sauce, served on top of triangle cut nacho chips, topped with green onions and cheddar cheese.

Turkey Pastrami Gravy Fries

The Texas new food item is a Frito Pie Extreme Dog that features an all beef hot dog, topped with fitos, chili, nacho cheese, diced onion, black beans, pickled jalapenos and sour cream.

The third food item honoring San Francisco series is an Turkey Pastrami Gravy Fries featuring crispy french fries, tossed in gourmet sea salt, topped with turkey pastrami, brown gravy and chopped parsley.

2018 Pop Figurines -- Clayton Kershaw is Now Available

These Pop! figurines are the cutest damn things.

It had been announced earlier this year that Baseball was coming to Pop! Now, they are available to purchase. There's a whole bunch on eBay and I'm sure your local hobby shop will have your favorite players.

What a thrilling game.

Not only did we get a walk-off win in extras, but we also witnessed a collision at the plate -- something I feared had disappeared from the game. Per Ken Gurnick at MLB.com:

"Blocking the plate, ran him over. Pretty much that simple. I was out. It was the shoving match we had [that earned the ejections]. It's not a big deal. Two guys shoving each other and then it's over, really. Not that big of a deal, honestly. You all want more? We play them again in August. I don't think there will be anything coming from it. I'm just happy we got the win.
...
"He still has a right to the plate," said Roberts. "There's a collision right there. There was no intent. That's just hard-nosed baseball."

• This Day in Dodgers History: In 1991 the Dodgers signed 17-year old amateur free agent pitcher Ismael Valdéz out of Victoria, Mexico. He would eventually play seven seasons in LA during an 12-year Major League career -- accumulating an 61-57 record, an 3.48 ERA, a 3.88 FIP and a WHIP of 1.235 as a Dodger. In 1993 the Dodgers play their very first game in Colorado against the expansion Rockies. Behind the pitching of Pedro Astacio, Los Angeles pounded out 12 hits (including a Jody Reed homer) to win the game, 9-4. In 1995 Dodger hurler Hideo Nomo struck out 16 Pirates to set an Dodgers all-time rookie record for strikeouts.

The Topps Living Set - #42 Jackie Robinson - Now Available

We now enter the 14th week of the Topps Living Baseball Set. So far, only one Dodger has been made available for sale. In mid-April Topps released the Chris Taylor card (see that here). This week, Topps is issuing the Jackie Robinson card, and as you might have guessed it is #42. See it above and below. Go here to check it out and order. It will only be available for direct online purchase from Topps over the next seven days.

2018 Topps Series 2 - All the Dodgers Base Cards

The Series 2 part of Topps 2018 flagship Baseball card set is now in stores. Check out all of the Dodgers' base and variation cards below. Go here for a complete checklist.

There are at least seven different Dodger photo variation cards available; including two Seager cards and a Legends Variations for both Jackie Robinson and Sandy Koufax. It is also notable that Andre Ethier is included in the base set -- possibly his last Dodger card.
